Orla Kiely SS15 Etc: Punched Stem and Giant Flower Tarpaulin

This season's bags include the return of the Tarpaulin collection, which is a very interesting material to use for a purse. If you're unfamiliar with the material, it feels very plastic-y and quite thin. Its shinier material showcases Orla Kiely's prints and colors very well, however, and I have the Big Spot Flower Willow Bag in my collection, which I love because of its bright hues and roomy interior. I will say, though, that if you weren't a big fan of the Nylon collection, then you probably won't like these Tarpaulin bags too much. They are definitely a lower-maintenance material and they are unlined, which brings them down to a lower price point. They still have Orla Kiely's signature style and super cute prints and colors, so that's always a plus. If you're looking for a super casual bag that'll be easy to clean, maybe for running errands, then these are great options.
